Fresh Vegetables Pickles (Acar Mentah)
1 small cucumber, cleaned, thinly sliced
1 carrot, peeled, thinly sliced
3 shallots, peeled, thinly sliced
6 fresh bird's eyes chillies, cleaned, thinly sliced (optional)
3 tbs of vinegar
2 tbs sugar
1 1/2 warm water
1 tsp salt
Mix water with vinegar, sugar and salt. Add the vegetables. Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving.
